Promise to Hope Receives National Recognition

Promise to Hope at Miami Valley Hospital was recently named a top finalist for The Bernard J. Tyson National Award for Excellence in Pursuit of Healthcare Equity by The Joint Commission and Kaiser Permanente—an incredible honor recognizing our commitment to reducing health care disparities. Out of countless programs across the United States, Promise to Hope is the only initiative in Ohio to receive this prestigious recognition in 2024, joining seven esteemed health care organizations from cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Since its inception in 2015, Promise to Hope has supported nearly 1,000 local moms battling addiction, providing them with the care, support, and resources needed to forge a new path for themselves and their babies.

Through grants and donor support through the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, Promise to Hope has received more than $1 million to provide compassionate prenatal care, access to essential baby supplies, and critical addiction recovery services to local mothers.
