Champions of Hope

The Miami Valley Hospital Foundation is honored to host Champions of Hope, an inspiring and uplifting recognition ceremony saluting four inspiring individuals for their achievements in the battle against cancer. This year’s event will be held at The Steam Plant in Dayton on October 11, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.

Honorees will be recognized in the following categories: 

  • Cancer Survivor: An individual who has battled cancer, is noted for giving back to others, and has inspired hope and determination in others battling the disease.
  • MVH Medical Professional: An individual from Miami Valley Hospital who has made contributions to the field above and beyond their professional responsibilities. A clinician who has touched the lives of one or more cancer patients.
  • Cancer Caregiver: An individual who has made a difference in the lives of cancer patients through self-sacrifice and unwavering optimism and support.
  • Person of Inspiration: An individual who has reached out or advocated for others in the fight against cancer in a meaningful, impactful way. A special person whose example truly inspires others to continue through their own struggles with the disease.

The honorees will be introduced through video profiles followed by an award presentation and brief remarks from each recipient. The event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and beverages.
