Employee Fuel Assistance

Fuel assistance through the Premier Health Foundations’ Employee Catastrophic Relief Program is made possible through gifts from our Premier Health Employee Giving Campaign and generous donations from our community to each of our four hospital foundations.

Criteria for Fuel Assistance

Managers and directors will verify if an employee is eligible for a one-time $100 gas gift card.

Verifying “need” as it relates to our employees’ financial situation can be both difficult and subjective. Because resources are limited, as you determine whether to request a gas card for you or your employee(s), please consider the following:  

  • Must have at least 90 days of employment 
  • Priority consideration given to employees in lower pay grades  
  • Consideration for both distance and frequency traveled to work  
  • Consideration given to employees with extenuating circumstances that negatively impact his or her finances (i.e., overwhelming medical bills, childcare expenses, household numbers, etc.) 

Note: Support employees and employees who only work from home do not qualify for gas cards. 

Your application will be confidentially reviewed and verified by the Foundation. Applying for this grant does not guarantee you will receive financial support. However, it is our goal to help those employees who qualify for assistance. Please direct questions to Foundations@premierhealth.com. A member from our hospital foundations team will contact you.
