PROMISE TO HOPE FAQ

Promise to Hope holds a weekly support group on Tuesdays from 6 p.m to 7 p.m. located at Miami Valley Hospital in the Berry Women’s Center, Conference Room 5.

Please contact Promise To Hope for additional information regarding our support group at (937) 208-4093.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day; therefore, a birthing person is permitted to come to the hospital at any time. A team member may not be available to be present upon arrival of birthing person if it is on the weekend or after 5 p.m. but will follow up the next business day to create a plan.

Promise To Hope collaborates with the Berry Health Center to provide prenatal and postpartum care weekly on Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Berry Health Center may be reached at (937) 208-0500.

We understand these hours may not work for everyone. The birthing person is welcome to attend appointments outside of Promise to Hope’s listed hours. If available, the Promise to Hope team will do our best to meet with mom at an alternate time.

Follow up care for mom is important especially if any concerns develop after birth.  Potential concerns include mental health screenings, incision checks, excessive bleeding after birth, and high blood pressure. Promise to Hope can also assist in creating a plan to transition care to a primary care provider.

No, our program accepts birthing persons who elect to deliver elsewhere.
