Department Grants

A committee composed of a cross-section of employees awards grants up to $2,000 each for proposals submitted by employees. Proposals should enhance the quality of patient care and/or improve the working conditions for employees and volunteers. Grants are intended as short-term, emergency funds for use between budget cycles and are awarded one time in amounts up to $2,000. Since 1990, the committee has allocated more than 175 grants to various hospital departments.

Applications are due in the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation office by the last day the following months: March, June, September, and December.
