Over the past sixteen years, proceeds from Celebrate the Valley have made a difference in the lives of countless patients in many different service areas at Miami Valley Hospital.

The beneficiary of proceeds for this year's gala is the Center for Women's Health at Miami Valley Hospital.

MVH is establishing a Women's Wellness Center satellite office at the hospital's downtown campus. The center will offer healthcare services and screenings to under or uninsured women. You can play an important part in making these vital services available to patients and families in dire need.

Proceeds from past galas have gone to the following programs:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Giraff Omnibeds, specialized incubators that create the best possible premature and sick infants.

The Young Families Outreach Program – helping teen parents provide a healthy start for their newborns.

Trauma Program Outreach and CareFlight’s ‘Drive Smart’ programs – providing emergency training to EMS providers in outlying areas, and demonstrating the consequences of drunk driving at area high schools.

Cancer Outreach and Education Programs – providing preventative information and screening opportunities in the community.

SeniorCare’s Adult Day Center – providing services for physically and cognitively impaired adults who need assistance, supervision and guidance during the day. And, most recently, the renovation project at the hospital’s nationally-recognized .
